  • hello, over here near the tree is a cow. Through animal respiration the cow is taking in carbon dioxide (co2) from the tree which is also undergoing plant respiration.

  • Co2
  • uh oh.. the cow is dead!
  • Co2
  • After the cow dies the process of decomposition happens which releases carbon dioxide into the air. Decomposition not only releases the carbon into the air, but also fossilizes. The process of fossilization takes incredibly long -- someone even take millions of years to fully fossilize. Then, workers remove these fossils and bring them to huge factories in which they are processed and go through a tediously long development, only to turn into fossil fuels. These fossil fuels release carbon dioxide into the air, and you can pretty much see why this is an endless cycle already.

  • Next, the fossil fuels undergo combustion which then releases more carbon dioxide into the air. Then the co2 released by the factory and the sunlight is taken in by the photosynthesis producer (the tree).
  • The photosynthesis producer undergoes decomposition then there's fossils and fossil fuels which then go to the factory that goes through fossil fuel combustion and releases co2 into the air
