- I am barely surving finacially, and the government of Massachusetts decides to go ahead and impose property taxes and take our farms out of nowhere!! Outrageous!
- Tell me about it and I am a soldier of the Continental Army, of the Revolutionary War and I get no compensation.
- YEAH!! We are with you!
- My fellow farmers and Ex-Revolutionary Veterans, this cannot stand anymore. We will protest against the state government in any means. Attack and disrupt the court houses and the town hall from their meetings. This government has taken away from us and has betrayed us. We must get what deserve, we must get fairness for us, the people!!
- Get rid of the government!!
- The AOC(Articles of Confederation) was incapable of solving and controlling this issue. This was due to a weak central government not having enough power to be able to assist and put an end to the rebellion. This showed that the AOC could not properly deal with situations such as this. Also, the under the AOC, there is a flaw in the collection of taxes to the state only, leaving nothing to the central government.
