The god Hermes is born to mother Maia and father Zeus. Once born Hermes escapes his cave to steal his brothers Oxen.
Trail By Zeus
Hermes makes his way to find the oxen. While on his journey he finds a turtle and kills it. He turns that turtle into a lyre. He then makes sandals to hide his tracks and continues to look for the oxen. He finds the many oxen and steals them and hides them away.
Beauty of music
Apollo, Hermes half brother, finds out that Hermes had stolen his oxen and goes to confront him. Hermes claims that he hadn't stolen anything and that he is too young and small to steal oxen. Apollo doesn't believe him and takes him to their father Zeus for trial.
Family and Friends
Zeus hears out both of his kids and although Hermes was lying Zeus could see straight through it. Zeus believed this to be foolish and sent the brothers out together to find the oxen and put them back.
While on their journey down the mountain apollo is very angry at Hermes. This all changes once Hermes begins to play his Turtle lyre. Apollo is amazed by Hermes amazing music and offers a trade for the lyre. Apollo will trade his Oxen for ownership of the lyre.
After trading their things they agreed to peace and became amazing friends. They acknowledged that they were brothers and continued to have a solid friendship through time.
