- Great I got a new roommate and have to stay with him.
- I'm mot a deserter
- Chapter 1:They see a paratrooper jumping off his plane and parachuted down to Leningrad. Lev and his friends knew he was dead because it was to cold to jump off a plane.  So Lev and his friends decided to find the paratrooper but when they went the saw the squad of red army following them and captured Lev.  
- oh no what is going on Run Run!
- Get back here!
- Chapter 2 : Lev was caught when the Nazis took over and was sent to the Night in the crosses. There he meets Koyla his new room mate. Lev learns that Koyla is annoying but he is nice to him.

- Chapter 3: Lev and Koyla were sent to the Colonel's office. The colonel told them they have a mission to do for him . Their mission for the Colonel is to get a dozen eggs for his daughter's wedding.

- Chapter5: They go to the Haymarket but don't find any eggs. They find  this old colonel man and told them to follow him because he has eggs at his house. When they get at their house the two found out that him and his wife are cannibals. 
- chapter 12: Lev and Koyla were walking though the woods when they heard a howling . They followed the howling and so lots of dogs, which they where dead. They also saw cleanly fresh tracks from the German tanks. 
- Chapter 14: Lev and Koyla were trying to walk to Mga but it was getting dark and saw a farmhouse. So, lev walked to the farmhouse but Koyla didn't want to go because it was the German territory. They knocked on the door and saw 4 girls inside the farm house which they looked like they had food and were eating good.
