- "I'm Home." Says Jack Coming home from 4th grade."Yay! How was your day honey?" Asks Susan."Well," Begins Jack, "I got in trouble"
- Jack it is important to be nice to people because they will be nice back. No one will want to be your friend and you will hurt their feelings, Now lets try again
- "Why did you get in trouble it's the third time this week!" Says Susan"Well I punched Tommy cause he was being annoying and I stole his lunch money." Says Jack realizing he's in big trouble.
- Good night
- "Come with me into the living room Jack." Says Susan, "Let's pretend were playing and I ask to borrow one of your toys, what do you say.""I would say no leave me alone you jerk. I don't want to play with you." Says Jack
- "I would say yes and ask if we could be friends. Sorry for being rude. I don't want to hurt peoples feelings, sometimes I just get mad." Answers Jack realizing he was being rude before.
- "It's okay. Good job Jack. Now let's go to bed and after school tomorrow you can tell me how things go with you being nice." Says susan as she tucks Jack into bed.
- After school Jack comes home beaming. "I told Tommy I was sorry and bought him a rice crispy treat. We played at recess and my teacher said she was really proud of me.""I'm very proud of you, your a good boy."
