The surface of earth melted, the atmosphere formed as gases spewed from volcanoes. It included methane, hydrogen sulfide and 10 to 200 times more carbon compared with the modern atmosphere.
Stage 4
Then after half billion years, the earth cooled for water to collect on it.
Stage 5
2.7 billion years ago a bluish-green microscopic organism called the cyanobacteria flourished on earth. There was no oxygen in or on earth, only some compounds such as water contains energy, so the cyanobacteria made gaseous which is free oxygen from carbon dioxide, water and sunlight.
Stage 6
After another 400 million years, photosynthetic organisms produce enough oxygen to react with the methane. After another 200 million years the methane was transformed forever and the sky of weather turned blue.

Between 700-550 million years oxygen level both in the atmosphere and oceans increased dramatically. The boost of oxygen accelerated the evolution of the organisms as they used oxygen to create energy. However for some of the organisms, the oxygen was poisonous, so they were forced into extreme airless habitats or extinction
