- I need to get out of bed. Every second I wait means it is one step closer to the rising of the sun.
- Stanley woke up and his entire body ached worse than the day before. His arms, back waist, ankles, and legs were burning with pain.

- After shoveling for many hours, Stanley put his shovel down and took a break because he finished all his water. After a few minutes, he got back to work. He bent down to pick up his shovel when he noticed something different next to it. He picked it up and examined it. It was a fossil in the shape of a fish. He hid his discovery and he continued to dig while waiting for the water truck to come.

- Mr Pendansaki! Look what I found!"It's a fossil! See the fish? See you can even see all of its little bones. So do I get the rest of the day off? You know, you said if I found something interesting, the Warden would give me the day off."?
- "Whats this?" "Interesting.." "What for?" Sorry Stanley. The Warden isn't interested in fossils."
- While Stanley was waiting in line for the water truck he was holding his fossil when he remembered what Mr. Sir and Mr. Pendansaki said.Unfortunately, Stanley's fossil discovery was not interesting enough for the Warden so he had to work in the burning sun for the rest of they day.
