- Amelia Earhart
- I love airplanes, and want to fly them, I've had a passion for them since I was a child.
- You are not capable because you are a woman! You can never fly a plane well because you do not have the capability!
- One challenge Amelia Earhart faced, even as she constantly proved she was capable of flying planes, was that she was believed to not be good enough only because of her gender. She faced a large amount of discrimination from other people.
- A major accomplishment that she had made was that she became the first female to fly a plane solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She also became the first individual to ever to fly solo from Hawaii to the U.S. mainland. She was an incredible aviator as a whole, even while facing a large amount of discrimination as a woman.

- Another accomplishment of Amelia Earhart includes the awards she was given after her significant actions. She was awarded the American Distinguished Flying Cross as well as the Cross of the French Legion of Honor. She was recognized for her efforts, even in a time where women were looked down upon and underestimated.
