- Suddenly, the sound of distant chains rattling reaches their ears. Ulrich’s heart races, his mind racing with thoughts of rescue. He calls out, his voice ragged but hopeful. He can see his men coming.
- As the sun begins to rise, casting a soft golden light on the snow, Ulrich and Georg begin to stand. Their men, still waiting in the distance, watch them warily. But as Ulrich turns toward Georg, a subtle nod passes between them. The feud, it seems, has ended, not with words, but with action.
- “The faint sound of hooves and chains echoes through the snow-covered forest. Ulrich’s heart skips a beat—help is near.”
- “The sun rises, and with it, a new day for both men. Their men look on in silence, but the tension is gone. In the quiet, there is only one truth: the past has been buried in the snow.”

- Ulrich extends his hand toward Georg. It is not an offer of peace—there’s no need for words anymore. It is simply a gesture, an acknowledgment of everything they’ve been through together. Georg takes it, and they shake hands. It’s firm, but there’s a new understanding between them. They’ve learned something the hard way.
- Ulrich, in a moment of clarity, speaks first. His voice is strained, but the words cut through the tension. He speaks not of vengeance, but of the futility of their long-standing feud. Georg listens, but his face shows little emotion. He’s been at war for so long, he doesn’t know how to let go.
- “Without a word, Ulrich offers his hand. Georg takes it, and in that brief moment, the years of hatred slip away. What was once impossible is now simple.”
- We’ve been enemies for too long,' Ulrich said, his voice hoarse. 'And for what? For a few acres of land, a few petty insults?

- A long silence follows, broken only by the distant sounds of the forest. Georg looks down at the snow, clearly processing Ulrich’s words. Slowly, almost imperceptibly, he nods. A single moment of shared understanding passes between them. The rivalry is no longer worth it.
- “With the wolves gone, Ulrich and Georg walk side by side. The path before them is unclear, but they face it together, no longer divided by hatred.”
- “Georg’s gaze softens, his voice barely above a whisper: 'Maybe… maybe it’s time to stop.' A new path, one of reconciliation, begins to form.
- The two men begin walking back toward their camps. The wolves are gone, and the forest is peaceful once again. The path ahead is uncertain, but it is no longer clouded by the shadow of their rivalry. Whatever happens next, they now face it together.
