- -This is how an alternative was born, proposed by a software engineer from Finland, named Linus Torvalds, who, complementing a system created by the American Richard Stallman, created a system to which everyone could have access, and above all, to be able to modify it as they wished. And so was born a system to which everyone could have access; and above all, to be able to modify it to their liking.
- -Linux is practically an alternative to Windows, and has many versions today. Moreover, Linux is not only present in computers, but also in many electronic devices and servers that use it as a base for their operation.
- -In Linus Torvalds' own words, he says that he created this system called Kernel by accident, he was programming a tool to communicate with a server, but it turned out that he had created a system that was able to communicate with the computer hardware in an effective way; this system was the missing piece of the operating system created by Richard Stallman called GNU. Today it is known as GNU-Linux.
- -This is very interesting. One of these days I will try Linux and see if I like it.
