- Can You Explain Why You Think Laissez-Faire or Socialism is better for the Economy.
- In my opinion Laissez-Faire economics and capitalism builds a stronger economy. When the government is hands off in economics it causes unregulated exchanges of goods and services that can help all. A free market allows for production of more goods and at a lower prices. This form of economics will drive people to work their hardest to make the most money. This drive for personal growth will cause people to work harder. Harder workers allows for more things to get done which will create a stronger economy.
- I fully support socialism as the best form of economy. People should not be able to personally own means of production. This creates large gapes between the rich and poor. It also cause people who own the means of production to abuse their power over the people who work for them in the means of production. If everyone as a whole owns these means of production it will cause people to work together to improve their lives rather than as individuals. This will keep the divisions of wealth small. Divisions in wealth cause uprisings against the rich and an unhappy and unmotivated working class. An unhappy and unmotivated working class leads to a weak economy.
