- Yes, I heard it was also practiced by Ancient civilizations, Babylonia, Assyria, and Egypt.
- And then, 3000 years ago is the first improvement on flat bread
- It was the Royal Egyptian Baker who came up with raised loaf bread.
- Meanwhile, in the 17th Century, they identified the role of the yeast cells.
- And Greeks in 6000 B.C made beehive oven out of Adobe or bricks. They also began establishing public bakeries.
- While Romans in 1000 B.C, came with more sophisticated oven and much bigger oven made of thicker adobe bricks

- Then in 19th Century, Baking industry was brought to America. Facilities and baked products saw improvements bigger and more efficient ovenswere built.
- Ah! Then, that's when the Baking trade flourished in 1960. And U.S Wheat Associates established its office in 1962.
