- i'm so happy we got rid of reed pens they were so leaky..quill pens are better.
- cavemen 30,000-10,000 years ago used a sharpend stone to write with and make symbols/pictures instead of letters and words. they alsohad no ink to write with they just had to scratch drawings into walls of caves.
- Romans 753 BC-476 ADThe Romans had reed pens made of bamboo filled with ink and they wrote on papyrus (pounded reed paper)but the Romans still had symbols and pictures just like the cavemen no letters yet
- China the year 700the Chinese thought of the idea of quill pens used from birds feathersand the Chinese used ink. awhile before the idea of quill pens the idea of symbols and pictures stopped and eventually there was normal letter like the alfabet so the chinese wrote in there own letters
