After getting my learners license, I will drive under the supervision of my dad for 12 months before getting into my class 7 test.
I will try to gain as much driving experience with my father during this time period to prepare for the Class 7 Road Test.

After my weeks of studying and practicing driving with my dad, I will book an appointment to take my Class 7 Road Test
This test would consist of 3 things: The Pre Trip Check(Basic controls and signals), On the Road evaluation(mirror scans, your should checks every time you tune, speed control, and the scanning of intersections before driving through), and Maneuvers Hazard Perception( the driving examiner will ask you to preform some tasks like different kinds of parking and will pull you over now and then so you could spot any hazards).

After passing my Road Test, I will return to ICBC Driver Licensing in Surrey with my driving examiner and ICBC will issue me a temporary paper license so I can drive right away. My official plastic Novice (N) card will arrive in the mail a few weeks later.
After getting my Novice License, I will Drive as a Novice for 24 months, followed by a 12-month restriction period under Class 5 before gaining full privileges. These restrictions being no drugs/ alcohol, no electronics, and no getting into any trouble (like tickets or speeding). If I fail to comply, the time remaining for my full license resets and I'll have to wait all over again.
