- Mission: Saving Earth, Destination: Mars!It is year 2030 on Earth. It is a very hot summer day, with temperature of 50*C. Earth is experiencing Global Warming. Icebergs are melting, continents are sinking as the water level rises, animal and plant species are going extinct and humans are running out of resources. But today, is a historic moment for humanity! People are excited but also very scared to be finally landing on Mars. By visiting Mars humans can learn how to prevent global warming. Today, NASA lands on Mars and the first human to step foot on Mars is astronaut Drit. Drit is happy, nervous and scared!!! Who will he meet?
- Mission to Mars is called "Survival". It took NASA 9 months to go to Mars. What will the Crew experience when it gets there? What is the climate? Mars’s seasons are the most Earth-like, however, they are twice as long, as Mars’ greater distance from the Sun leads to the Martian year being about two Earth years in length. Martian surface temperatures vary from lows of about -140 °C (-220 °F) during the polar winters to highs of up to 20 °C (68 °F) in summers. The wide range in temperatures is due to the thin atmosphere which cannot store much solar heat, the low atmospheric pressure, and the low thermal inertia of Martian soil. It is good NASA is landing in Summer!!!
- Approximately 9 years ago, on February 23rd, the Perseverance rover successfully landed on Mars. Launched on July 30th, 2020, the car-sized rover traveled 470 million kilometers to get to Mars, according to NASA. Today is a big step for Humanity as Astronauts step foot on Mars! Everyone is watching anxiously as to what will happen next. Are there any aliens or Marians? Will they be friendly or hostile? Will they understand that the this true mission is about helping Humanity?
- WOW!!! I am on MARS!!! I am the first human to step on Mars!! Wow it is Magical! The temperature is reading 20*C!! I can hear the wind!! Looks like twilight!! So Beautiful!!

- Drit is shaking from fear. His voice trembles as he tries to talk to the alien.
- Hi...Hello...My name is Drit! I come from planet Earth!! I come in Peace!!
- In Peace you say? We know Earthlings are not that friendly to one another and their planet. Now tell me the truth: WHAT DO YOU WANT HERE???
- Drit is scared they might not believe him and that they might capture him or even kill him.
- YES... in Peace! Please believe me! Our purpose here, in Mars is to study. Because we know that Mars had water in its past. Learning how your water disappeared will help us protect Earth from turning into dry Mars...
- Oh really? I am supposed to believe this? You do not know but we secretly visit you. We know you pollute your oceans and destroy forests. You trapped your planet in Global Warming!

- Drit is desperate to hear alien's answers. He is no longer scared but desperate to save his home, Earth.
- Please HELP US, I beg you!! How can we protect Earth? How can we save Earth?? HOW??
- The only way to Stop Global Warming is to:1. Save the forests and build new parks so trees trap CO2 and release O2 in the air,2. Clean your oceans so that fish thrive and corals absorb CO2 and release O2 in the ocean (89%of CO2 is trapped by oceans),3. Use sustainable farming that helps earth, animals and farmers,4. Use clean energy sources such as solar and wind, and5. Please recycle!!!
