Between 1590 and 1613, I wrote 37 plays and collaborated on several more. My 17 comedies, The Merchant of Venice and Much Ado. from my 10 history plays, these are the most famous: Henry V and Richard III, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth.
