  • Vocational school
  • If you know what you want to do with certainty, it is better preparing for the workforce.
  • Since most vocational only take 2 years to complete, it is cheaper than a 4 year university option 
  • But if you decide you don't ant to do the career you where doing, it will be hard to switch and especially because it is in a different field.
  • since the degrees take 2 years, you may feel fast paced and feel like you have shorter breaks.
  • Four-year college or university
  • Being in the same community for four years with your friends can be good to make invaluable friendships
  • There is a large amount of data that suggest better employment options for those who have a degree than don't
  • Its the costliest option but even with financial aid, you will still have to pay for your living cost.
  • But student loan pay could take years to pay off
  • Comunity college
  • if you have an undecided major, you have more time to decide under a tight budget.
  •  community college is a much cheaper alternative for people who don't really know what they don't want to do for their career.
  • But since your more than likely at home, you wont have as much independence as if you were staying in a dorm
  • You could also be missing out with your peers who are probably at a university.
  • The military
  • You will gain knowledge and have a one in a kind expedience.
  • Experience you gain in the military will be highly rewarding for serving your country and U.S citizens.
  • The military requires hard work and disciplined, and a lot of commitment while serving your armed forced roles.
  • Gap Year
  • Allows undecided students to explore their options and gain real world experience to discover their desired major and career
  • Gap year can save money on a degree since you will have a clearer idea on what you want to do.
  • When you return to school the next year, most of your classmates wont be the same age as you
  • One of the thing that you go back and forth on is the situation and the price. You will have more money for lifestyle expenses, groceries, etc.
  • Straight to work
  • and your not tied down to loan repayment and stressing over being past due on bills and being late on repaying loans.
  • But there is noway to invest in your future than getting quality education
  • If you are burnt out at work and not consistent, you can just be bored with your job and not be fulfilling your full potential in a better career
  • In situations and places you are sent to do a job, you have to be adaptable and flexible for anything to happen at anytime.
  • But many of those who take gap year, don't go back to school for various reasons
