- Once upon a time, a man had three sons. He loved them each very much, but unfortunately they were always quarrelling among themselves as each one was green with envy of the other. He had always wished and tried to reunite them, but his attempts were futile. Until one day on his deathbed, he hit upon a plan.
- EUREKA! THAT'S IT!
- The man called his children in to "Discuss his last wish". To his disappointment, upon entry, his children all gave each other the cold shoulder. The man then proceeded to give the youngest of the three a bundle of sticks and ordered him to snap it as his last wish.
- As my last wish I would like you each to try to snap this bundle of sticks.
- That's it? Ok.
- His youngest son's attempts were futile. The second eldest son did not do far better. Then it was the eldest sons' turn. He set the bundle on his knee and attempted to snap it but once again there was no success. He took his seat in a fit of rage, then complained that it was unbreakable.
- That bundle is arduous to break!!
