Excuse me sir, do you know what cellular respiration and fermentation is?
Yes, of course!
Sadly no, could you maybe teach me?

It all starts with Glycolysis which takes place in the cytoplasm and creates 2 ATP.. The equation for this is C6H12O6 + 6O2 - 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP Energy
Ohhh, that's where it starts. What's next?
Wow, I didn't know they had the same equation.
After Glycolysis comes the Krebs cycle which takes place in the matrix of a mitochondrion and also makes 2 ATP. The equation for this is the same as Glycolysis.

Now the last step is the electron transport. Taking the energy-storing molecules from the last two steps to make even more ATP, specifically 34 ATP.
That's awesome! What about fermentation?
Alright, fermentation. It's how some organisms create ATP from glucose anaerobically. It includes glycolysis but not the other steps. There's also two types of fermentation, lactic acid fermentation and alcoholic fermentation.
Alright! Thank you sir, have a good day!
