- I Like Katniss
- You need to have good supportive reasons for your clam even though peeta doesn't like katniss he had lied and said that he had liked her when he was a kid.
- Why did he have to say that
- Katniss had gotten mad at peeta for telling Haymitch that she had good skills. He was telling hi that he had seen her shoot a bow and arrow. He is giving him good evidence that can be used as argumentative writing
- Why did you tell him
- Katniss is confused why peeta didn't want to train with him so she started getting confused but relieved. This shows that this is a bad example of an argument. This doesn't have reasons or claims.
- Peeta didn't wanna do the training with me.
- A counter claim is a claim that is going against you so peeta has a reason why he doesn't want to train with katniss and that is a Counterclaim.
- Counter claiming
- Some people might think katniss will survive but then others don't think she will survive. You need to gather as much evidence and reasons why or why not you think she could win the hunger games.
- Claim
- Countering the countered claim. Katniss needs to provide more evidence to prove that she has the better reasons for her claim.
- To know your audience you need to be able to support them with good information so they could have there own claims to make.
- To understand the authors purpose it helps you understand the book or text better and what its actually about.
- The hunger games is very interesting for young adults because there is alot of action and decisions to be made fo the characters. You get to learn about the characters and there past selves.
