  • CLIMAX
  • After the operation Charlie tries to go back to work but everyone there is weirded out by his extreme change in intelligence and feels inferior to him. They end up kicking him out after bullying him while he was dull.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Charlie becomes smarter than both doctor Strauss and doctor Namura, initially this makes them really secure and Charlie mad because he tries to have what he thinks are normal intellectual conversations but they can't understand what he's saying. Charlie realizes that like all their previous experiments his intelligence would soon start to rapidly decline.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Charlie sees a bunch of people laughing at a young boy who was like he was and had just dropped some dishes. The kid makes him remember his old self and he defends the kid. This is when he decides he's not going to give up and instead try and develop the technology so that people like him can be smart aswell.
  • He decides to try and research the procedure to see if he can fix the issue that made it so he would lose his intelligence but eventually determines it to be useless and starts writing about his experiences as his intelligence quickly declines.eeeee
  • He loses all his intelligence and goes back to work and back to his classes with Ms Kinnian not having really remembered anything that had happened when he had been smart. He makes the decision to move somewhere new where no one ever knew that he had been smart.
