Storyboard Text

  • Here I am in my classroom. Other than the ones already discussed, here we will notice a new type of energy, Sound Energy.
  • Sound waves are created by object vibrations and produce pressure waves, for example, a ringing cellphone. The pressure wave disturbs the particles in the surrounding medium, and those particles disturb others next to them, and so on.
  • Sound energy refers to the form of energy produced by the vibrations of an object or medium, which are transmitted as sound waves through that medium. It is a type of mechanical energy that relies on the movement of particles, usually air molecules, to work.
  • Gravitational force is one of the world's natural forces. A gravitational force of attraction between any two masses of matter that is proportional to their masses.
  • Gravitational energy is the energy possessed or acquired by an object due to a change in its position when it is present in a gravitational field. In simple terms, it can be said that gravitational energy is an energy that is related to gravitational force or to gravity.
  • I am about to eat lunch. There is no new form of energy here except for one. It doesn't really impact my eating but its the reason I'm able to stay on the ground, Gravitational energy.
  • Solar energy is any sort of energy that is produced by the sun. Solar energy is produced via nuclear fusion, which occurs in the sun. Fusion happens when the protons of hydrogen atoms collide violently in the sun's core and fuse to form a helium atom.
  • When school is over, I will walk home on this nice sunny day. The sun is an example of solar energy
