- The main character's name is Molly. The story starts off at Molly's school. She is in the fourth grade and she attends Eagle Elementary School. This is her first year at her new school. Molly has short brown hair and she loves to wear dresses.
- So
- Molly misses her friends from her old town. She wants to make friends at her new school. She hears from her classmates that there at soccer try-out at school in a week. Molly thinks that will be a great way to make friends and will be a fun thing to do.
- Then
- The only problem is that Molly has not played soccer since she was in first-grade. Molly really wanted to be on the team but she was worried that she wasn't good enough.
- Finally
- Molly decided that the only way for her to make the soccer team is if she practiced really hard all week. Her older brother Jake was very athletic and knew that with his help there was a possibility that she would make the team.
- Jake will you please help me make the soccer team?
- Molly practiced every day after school. Jake made her run drills and even taught her some new tricks. When it came time for the try-outs. Molly was ready! She played the best that she could! Now, the only thing left to do was wait for the results!
- The soccer team results were in and Molly had the team!! She was so happy that her hard work of practicing all week has finally paid off. She was so excited to be part of a team at the her new school! She was so excited to play soccer and meet new friends!
