. I just made a shocking discovery with my simple microscope that there are things moving in the water I do everything with. I was thinking of the name 'wea beasties', but I'm afraid people would think they are harmful so I shall call them'animalcules'.

Hi, I'm Robert Hooke and it's the year 1665 , I was just looking at this cork bark, and noticed there are these weird things that reminded me of the cells monks live in. I don't think these things have a name so I shall call them 'cells'.

The difference between them doesn't look noticeable, but if you look into it there is a huge difference. These microscopes improve like a new IPhone. These microscopes are compound microscopes. (The ones most commonly used )
