Marji’s experience in Iran

- Marjane was taking a walk down streets of Tehran, just like any day of her life.
- "Hey! How's it going officer?"
- "Hello Marjane! My day is going good so far!"
- Marjane would see her bestfriend everyday and the would go play basketball and listen to their favorite music.
- "Hi Marjane! I was wondering if you wanted to go play basketball with me ?"
- Hey Amanda! Yeah sure! Let's go to the basketball court.
- Marjane decides to return to protesting. The protest includes women of all ages. However, the morality police find her!
- They finished playing their basketball game and Marjane's friend, Amanda, were curious of what music they were listening to.
- "What are you listening to Amanda?"
- "Oh sweet!I'm listening to firework by Kate Perry"
- "Beat it by Michael Jackson. What are you listening?"
- AWESOME! She one of my favorite artists!
- Fast forward to the late 1970s...
- "What am I going to do? Should I hide? Or should I go back and fight for my freedom?
- After the Iranian Government passed new laws for women. Marjane has been caught multiple times disregarding hose rules.
- Marjane has fled the morality police from the protest.

- "WE WILL NOT STOP PROTESTING UNTIL OUR FREEDOM IS GIVEN BACK TO THE CITIZENS OF IRAN!"
- "Over here! I found Marjane! Get her!"
- After various protests, Marjane's luck finally runs out. The morality police manage detain her and put her under arrest.
- "We've got you now! You are under arrest!"
