- Physical Trait: Small and quick, dark of face, restless eyes and sharp strong features .
- Quotes: "O.K.- O.K. I'll tell ya again. I ain't got nothing to do. Might jus' as well spen' all my time tellin' you things and then you forget' em, and i tell you again." (pg.2)
- Character Traits: He is caring person who sticks up and takes care of lennie. He can be nice but he can also get angry easy when lennie starts trouble

- Physical Trait: A huge man, shapeless face, with large pale eyes, with wide slopping shoulders
- Quote: " Oh, sure, George. I remember that now . " His hands went quickly into his side coat pockets. He said gently, "George ... I ain't got mine I musta lost it." (pg.2)
- Character traits: Lennie was always forgetful but he was one who tried to remember. He was always happy and wanted to hear about the future

- Physical Trait: Tall stoop shoulder old man. Wearing blue jeans and carried a big push broom in his left hand
- Quote: " I wasn't listenin'. I was jus' standin' in the shade a minute scratching my dog. I jus' now finished swampin' out the wash house (pg.18)
- Character Trait: He was always quite and minded his business. He could be talkative at time and his only friend was his dog

- Character traits: He was kind and calm, he judged no one and was talkative. He tried to look for the good in people

- physical Traits: thin young man with a brown face, brown eyes tightly curled hair
- character trait: curley was always sort of rude. he was always looking for trouble with people smaller and bigger than him . He didn't care about anybody but himself

- Physical trait: full, roughed lips, wide spaced eyes, heavily made up.
- character traits: She was a lonely person, didn't have anyone to talk to, she always tried to talk to the boys because she was tired of just talking to curley
- Quote: " Hope you get on my team," ... " I gotta pair of punks on my team that don't know a barley from a blue ball. You guys ever bucked any barley?" (pg.34)
