Storyboard Text
- The 1st episode takes place in San Francisco, CA, with our main character Hong walking to take Ka Jung-Woo, the child of a family friend, to his job after school. Her mom suggested the idea, as Jung-Woo socializes little with others.
- I know I should try and make friends. But Hong? I don't think he even likes me, Mom!
- Hong arrives to take Jung-Woo with him. Later on, Jung-Woo applies her mom's advice.
- At home, Jung-woo is complaining about going with Hong, as she feels he dislikes her.
- Jung-Woo's mom suggests being honest with Hong and letting him know. "It's not that Hong doesn't like you, he's just different from his mom and dad. He's been that way since you were a kid. Just tell him how you feel! If one thing's true, He respects honesty from people.
- Yeah..
- And besides, if there were a zombie apocalypse, you two would have to stick together!
- Is it about last week?
- Hong, I feel like we need to get some things straight.
- You're fine. Really. I know It seems like I don't want you around. But I'm just, a calm guy.
- Nah...But your mom's having my mom have me go with you to your job so that I can freaking talk to somebody...I just..don't wanna burden you.
- You and me are cool. I know we don't know each other very well, but l think we should make an effort. If no one else wants to hang out with you, then I will.
- After seeing the ambulances, Jung-Woo goes to the lobby of the building to read a newspaper.
- Well I was hoping it was just that. I know I can be pretty boring.
- At Hong's workplace, Jung-woo briefly conversates with some employees and visitors, before looking out the window .
- Jung-Woo notices 2 ambulances that drive by, unwaivering to any stop sign.
- This headline alarms Jung-Woo even more.She considers showing Hong, but doesn't want to bother him.
- Jung-Woo is alarmed by the presence of the ambulances.The visitors and Hong also notice.
- PERSON-TO-PERSONVIOLENCE INCREASES ACROSS THE CITY,HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS INCREASE!WHAT'S GOING ON IN SF?
- SEPTEMBER 26th, 2003
- After speaking with Hong for a bit, Jung-Woo decides to take a stroll.
- Jung-Woo, hey!
- Not much, just been... at home most of the time.
- Hey.
- So...Whats been up with you since we met?
- It's okay. Maybe I shouldn't have stuck up for that guy..
- Hey, I'm sorry about my uncle by the way.. He's not..racist or anything.
- Well. okay. I could go and see him tomorrow.
- Wait, really?
- He wanted to make it up to you! He made sandwiches.
- Jung-Woo and her friend hear yelling and commotion behind them. They look to see and aggressive person attacking a lady. Bystanders watch in fright but try and help the woman.
- She gasps,
- Then takes a swing at the person.
- Wait here.
- Yo..let's get out of here.
- Jung-Woo runs to help the woman. Courageously, she fights the aggressive person.
- The person's face was one Jung-Woo never saw before. A twisted and scary expression.
- The person lay unconscious on the street.
- A firefighter assists the woman. Blood is seen from an injury on her neck.
- Jung Woo, feeling sorry for the woman, feels odd about this fight.
- That was you!? I'm glad you helped her, Just don't run off without me, we gotta stick together!
- Ah, are you okay!? Where were you, Jung-Woo!?
- Later on, Hong sees Jung-Woo again, after she comes back to his workplace.
- I-I'm Alright. I had to help this lady, she was getting chomped at by this crazy guy!
- I won't.. I'm sorry. But the whole thing feels weird.
- later in the day, Jung-Woo is walking to her house with Hong. They notice medical personnel outside of a nearby house.
- Later on, Jung-Woo arrives at her house, and goes to her room to rest. Her mom walks in.
- It went alright.
- Hey, so how'd it go?
