- His name is Lao Tzu, he is apart of Taoism, also known as Daoism
- Hi! Daoism means "the way" or "path" which includes how we perceive the world and interact with life. Daoism is based on the suppression of desire in favor of natural simplicity and tranquility. Instead of getting mad at your parents, you could address them in a more calm way. Just remember, "Simplicity, patience, compassion.These three are your greatest treasures."
- The last philosopher is Han Tsu, who is a legalist.
- Hello. Legalism emphasizes the need for order above any human concerns. We believe that the only way of making humans behave morally is through habituation and harsh punishment. We would've gave you a much more harsh punishment than what your parents did, so you should be extremely grateful.
- Well that Han guy was quite harsh! Do you think you learned something?
- I learned quite a few things. I shouldn't have cursed mom and dad out, but instead had been calm and explained. I should respect my parents and elders all the time. I think I should also try to get my grades up so I can feel less stressed and more at peace. I'm also just very grateful I didn't get a bad punishment because clearly the legalism philosopher has worse punishments. Thank you sis, I'm going to apologize to mom and dad!
