- Vocabulary
- Goal: Practice weekdays so every student know them in English
- How many days are there in a week?
- Repeat from the last lesson. Make sure that the students are interactive and ansvers questions. Example of a weekday is Monday
- Question Does anyone know the weekdays in Swedish?
- Lets try and translate day by day in to English. Writing down the weekdays on the white board in Swedish and English.
- Weekdays are important to know as a basic vocabulary. We need to have an english vocabulary to be able to speak basic English. For example introduce or self in English etc. Keep a basic converstaion going.

- Now we will listen to a song, so that you can hear the diffrent days in English
- A week is a period of 7 days. Its always in the same order...

- Weekdays in English always have an ending of the word as day!

- What do I remeber from the songs, write it down, can I relate to someting. What is the first day? Weekend, what do I usually do then? Do I go to school for example?

- As a Theacher I think out loud on how to learn the weekdays in English, maybe trying to relate to the days? I play soccer on Wednesdays.. Let the children work on their own with an task thats been handed out
