Romulus and Remus
Storyboard Text
- One day there were royal twin babies who were descendents of the Trojan hero, Aeneas. Were kidnapped by their uncle which left them to die near the river. Then the river started to swell and the babies almost drowned, but a she-wolf saved them and took them as her own.
- Then a shepard saw the twins under the fig tree and adopted them. Then named them Romulus and Remus.
- Then when the twins were teens they got into some trouble they were brought before a judge. Thats when they found out they were royal then they set out to avenge their family. Then they found their grandfather then made him the king of a kingdom instead of their uncle. Then began to search for their own kingdom.
- They then set out to find the fig tree in the land of the seven hills that they grew up with. Romulus wanted to build a city on one of the hill but Remus wanted to build a city on another hill. Then the brothers prayed to the gods to give them a sign so they can figure out where to build the city.
- Then Remus saw 6 birds flying overhead, but Romulus saw 12 birds. So Remus thought he should get his way because he saw the birds first but Romulus saw 12 so he thought he should get his way.
- So then Romulus went ahead and started building his city. He then built the walls but when he was building the walls Remus decied to mess with him and was saying Look! So easy! Obviously this wall will not keep enemies out! Then Romulus was so furious so he killed his brother. Then announced that his new city would be called Rome after himself.
