The main character of this story, Barry, is seen in the living room, visibly anxious, fidgeting and looking stressed. Barry has been bullied at school and is very socially anxious. He has just come back from school after being harassed by other people. He feels alone and doesn't have anyone supporting him and listening to his troubles right now.
Barry's close friend, Luke, comes to talk to Barry and listen to what he has to say without judgement. Being present and empathetic allows Barry to express his feelings and concerns tp someone he can trust.
