- The Spark That Led To World War 1
- Franz Ferdinand and Sophie departed their estate and traveled to Sarajevo Bosnia on June 23th 1914
- Where they don't know, a secret Serbian society was planning the assassination of Franz Ferdinand
- Gavrilo Princip was arrested by police and imprisoned. Many people believe the assassination of Franz Ferdinand was the spark that led to the First World War.
- Morning Trip at Sarajevo
- Archduke Ferdinand traveled to Sarajevo to inspect imperial armed forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was annexed by Austria-Hungary in 1908. The annexation had angered Serbian nationalists, who believed the territories should be part of Serbia.
- 2 Shots That Changed History
- When it was announced that Franz Ferdinand was going to visit Sarajevo, Colonel Dimitrijevic(the head of black hand)sent 7 men to Sarajevo to assassinate him. Each man was given either a revolver or a bomb and a small vial of cyanide, they was instructed to commit suicide of after Franz Ferdinand had been killed, since its important to not let people know who organised this assassination.
- Returned Back On The Tour
- At June 28 1914, its Franz Ferdinand and Sophie's 14th wedding anniversary. At the morning, they journeyed at Sarajevo on a routine state visit, the trip has been planned in great detail, they start traveling towards town hall.
- The driver drove down on the same streets that they had been attacked on earlier. He realised his mistake and stopped the car to turn round. One onlooker(Gavrilo Princip)has been waiting for this opportunity, he steps forward and pulled out his gun, he fired 2 shots towards Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, they both are shot to death.
- Franz Ferdinand is boiling with anger because of the bomb, but still the governor insists that with the assailant in custody, the danger has passed. So they carried on the tour, and Franz Ferdinand demands the group to make a stop at the hospital first, to visit this injured in the bombing. Unfortunately, no one tells his diver that they are going to the hospital.
