- The unamed narrator has tore off the arms and legs of the old man then barried him underneath the floor of his own death chamber. The narrator thought that no one woud even think anything is wrong.

- Opon the hiding of the body 3 police man knocked on the door, the narrator answernd them calmy and welcomed them. They said they were they here becuse a neighbor complained about a shreik and the police were here to investigate
- The narrator broght the police man to the exact room where the murder happened and had the police completely fooled they didnt have a clue. The narrator placed his chair where the body was burried and sat there
- The sound of the old mans heart beat grew louder by the second, the narrator couldnt take it anymore he revealed the body to the police. The heart beat was never there it was just that the narrator was gulty for killing the old man so he confessed
