Storyboard Text

  • There once was a very smart boy who lived in a happy family in Geneva named Victor Frankenstein. His favorite subjects were chemistry and biology.
  • One of his teachers challenged him to test the limits of science so Victor created a monster that took him days to complete.
  • He finished building it, but it didn’t move. Victor thought he had failed so he went to sleep. In a panic, Victor woke up and saw the monster looking at him.
  • The monster walked down many streets, hoping to find someone to be his friend. Eventually, he found a small cottage filled with a nice family inside.
  • He immediately jumped up and left the building because he thought the monster was too ugly. This hurt the monster’s feelings.
  • At first, the family was scared, but they looked at the monster from what was within him instead of his outer appearance. This nice family taught the monster to speak, read, and write.
  • One day, the monster decided to find his creator and renew their friendship once and for all. He wandered through the woods when he stumbled upon a boy.
  • The boy shook in fear when he saw the monster. This made the monster very upset so he yelled at the boy until he cried. Little did the monster know, this boy was Victor’s little brother.
  • When Victor heard that the monster made his brother cry, he set off to confront the monster. They met on a dark, stormy night. The monster pleaded with Victor to create him a friend.
  • Victor promised he would make a friend for the monster. He began working when, all of a sudden, Victor got scared of how the new monster would look so he gave up on the project.
  • The monster promised that he would make Victor’s family pay for breaking his promise. When Victor heard this news, he became very sick.
  • Victor lay sick on his bed when the monster appeared. The monster said that he was sorry for hurting his family and that he loved Victor.
  • Victor finally got over his sickness. The monster lived happily ever after with Victor’s family. He finally made friends that loved him for who he was and not what he looked like.
