- Hello there! I will be teaching you how to be safe when working in IT.
- You want to first make sure you have cable management, this will help you a lot in keeping track of your cords. and help with fire hazards.
- Before working on your computer you want to make other people in the setting feel safe by being safe in the work field.
- Next you want to make sure that you have no food or drinks by the computer which could result in spilling a drink on the computer or greasy hands on it.
- Next lets move to the main room in our IT setting.
- You want to be safe by using communication with others in case of a computer overheating or in case somewhere in the building a fire has happened due to certain cable problems.
- Welcome to the main IT setting! In here you are working with people working on computer that have problems.
- For example you want to use a spudger when trying to take something off from something else or use a certain screwdriver for a certain screw.
- When working with computers you want to use proper tools for the certain part you are working on.
