- 4[(x-1)^2-1]+14(x-1)^2-4+1
- Dad-With completing the square you need to take the 4 out of the problem by dividing it with the equation. So it will be 4 divided by 4x^2-8x. Kailas- Ok dad let's do it.

- 4(x-1)^2-4+1
- Dad- Now we need to take the -2 and divide it by 2 then square it and add it back into the problem by adding and subtracting it. After that, we need to factor the first 3 parts by putting them in square brackets Kailas- I think I'm starting to get it now

- Dad- Now we need to get rid of the square brackets to do that we need to multiply the 4 back in. So it will be 4 into the square brackets and times -1
