- the begining
- central powers- Germany and Austria-Hungary then later Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire joined in hopes of gaining their territory back. their name is central powers because they are located in the middle of Europe.
- factories/supplies
- allied powers- great Britain France and Russia, and a few weeks later japan, then Italy. Italy was with the central powers but went to the allies because the Italians accused the other side of unjustly starting the war.
- meeting to choose a treaty
- the war got connected to a lot of other continents for help and for treaties so those places would come in and help fight the opposite sides.
- the treaty
- because all of the countries were being involved in the war they all wanted to win. so everyone in the country was sacrificing something to help. factories were donating some of their money and ty had to start rationalizing their goods so they could split them with the people who were fighting.
- the two groups of people got together to try to figure out what treaty they could choose to
- in the end they ended up choosing the treaty of versailles they chose thhis one over 5
