- They were able to free themselves from the fallen tree with a great deal of teamwork and effort. As their spirits rose, they made the decision to return to civilization so they could get medical help. They conversed about their families, personal histories, and the causes of their animosity as they made their way through the forest.

- As the night carried on, they came to the conclusion that their animosity toward one another had been misplaced and that their families had been engaged in a conflict over issues that had never been worth it. They resolved to cooperate to mend the rift between their families after deciding that reconciliation was the best option to put an end to the animosity.

- After several days, a search party ultimately found them and saved them. After receiving medical attention for their injuries, they met with their families to discuss their newly-acquired understanding and to put an end to the long-standing enmity.
