- One day, a new pharaoh took the throne of Egypt, however this pharaoh was not kind and made gods people, the Israelities into his slaves.
- Over time the number of Israelites slaves in Egypt grew and grew until their numbers became so large the pharaoh started to have second thoughts.
- The Pharaoh became deeply scared that if the Israelities numbers continued to grow they might want to seek some power.
- So the pharaoh ordered that all the boys born to the Israelities must be thrown in the mighty river.
- One day an Israelite women named Jochebed gave birth to a baby boy. However she was terrified of the pharaoh's rule so she came up with a plan to avoid it.
- Jochebed made a waterproof basket and placed her son in it. Then she placed him into the river and watched as her son drifted away.
- As the baby drifted down the river, the daughter of the pharaoh happen to be getting ready to take a bath in the river's water. But noticed something floating in the river, and realized it was a baby in a basket.

- Although she knew the baby was one of the Israelite boys she dicided she would save his life and would adopt him as her own son. And Moses would go on to become one of the most important of God's people and an important prophet.
