- I would like to tell everyone that won't be wage increase this year, the business is not making money
- This is unacceptable.

- I agree, the manager must pay us the last year increase and implement another 0,5% increase, the standard of living is high now the workers are also suffering. We must put them in front.

- The manager Jones tells the employees that they will not receive a wage increase again this year because of the pandemic and the business is not making money. The supervisor Mr Ben is disappointed by the manager's decision, they were not consulted before the decision was made and their employment contract stipulates that they must receive 0,5% increase every year for 5 years.
- Office passage

- The shop stewards have a meeting they share their views on the problem they have encountered , Ben claims that the manager is in breach of the contract and that they are not investors they should get paid based on the effort not the end results. Mr Haydrick disagrees and claims that workers will be retrenched if they force for the wage increase.
- Printing room
- I don't think that is a good idea.
- The shop stewards vote, Mr Anderson and Martin agree with Ben and the vote goes in favour of demanding a meeting with the manager.
- Manager's office
- Meeting between the manager, shop stewards and trade union General Dumisani Magagu.
- Workers are reluctant to come to work because they feel like they are being exploited. Martin tries to convince them them that their demands will be brought forward therefore they must come to work.
- Everyone must come to work tomorrow, the matter will be resolved soon.
- Douglas and haydrick tries to convince Anderson to go against the memorandum he is printing, they try to manipulate him and make him believe that he will lose his job if he does not go against it.
- If you continue with this you will be First one to lose, you are a top earner here, abort this while you have time.
