Storyboard Text
- There once was a girl named Psyche, who was one of three daughters of a king.
- As Eros was about to shoot Psyche with his arrow, he accidentally hits himself! Now Eros is in love with Psyche, ironically.
- Out of jealousy, Aphrodite ordered Eros to shoot her with with his arrow so she can fall in love with the ugliest man.
- Upon learning of this, Aphrodite curses Psyche so that no one ever loves her. In response, Eros doesn't shoot his arrows.
- A wind blew Psyche up to a castle, and she meets her invisible husband and invisible servants there.
- The world, now without Eros' arrows, without love itself, went ruined. No motivation for the humans, no work being done.
- Psyche was having the time of her life with her husband, whom she truly loved despite he is invisible.
- Psyche's family went to an oracle to find out why Psyche wasn't getting any love, they see that she was to be devoured by a monster and prepared her on a field.
- Psyche was visited by her sisters, who made her doubt who her husband actually was. Now thinking he might be a monster.
- At midnight, Psyche slowly walks to her husbands bed with a candle in her hand. Expecting to see a monster, she sees the beautiful god Eros.
- Psyche, now doubtful and uneasy, makes a very bold decision to make sure her husband is not a monster.
- As the candle wax wakes up Eros, Eros is angered. Psyche has failed the test of trust, and the castle disappears with it. Leaving Psyche in the woods, as she looks for her husband to this day.
