- Guy's I know you are going to think I'm as crazy a cat who wants to walk through water, but I have to turn myself into the police.
- Oh No!! the church is on fire. There are people running, jumping, and screaming everywhere!
- There are some kids in the church. What am I going to do?
- We'll save them!
- Johnny says he wants to turn himself into to the cops. He thinks that he has a good chance of being let off.
- Come with us we are here to help you! Hurry!!!
- As Darry is driving Ponyboy and Johnny back to turn themselves in, Darry sees the church at the top of the hill in flames.
- Uhh. What happened... Is Johnny OK...
- Ponyboy and Johnny jump out of the car and find out that there are children, who were having a picnic, that are trapped in the church. They rush into the church to save them.
- Soda!!
- Ponyboy!!
- Ponyboy and Johnny find the children in the back of the church. Once all the children are out Johnny pushes Ponyboy to the window, but he does not make it because a flaming timber falls on him.
- Ponyboy finds out the is back at his home-town in a hospital. Darry was burnt and Johnny was burned severely, also people thought they were heroes because they saved the children in the Church.
- Ponyboy, reunites with his brothers, Sodapop and Darry in the hospital waiting room. Ponyboy and Darry apologize to each other about everything that happened. Darry reveals he thought he would never see Ponyboy again.
