Storyboard Text

  • Greasers can't walk alone too much or they'll get jumped, or someone will come by and scream "Greaser!" at them which doesn't feel to hot (Pg.2)
  • This is a example of violence because the Greasers had to watch if they were alone because if they were that would get jumped and that never ends well.
  • "Someone had beaten him up. We were used to seeing Johnny banged up-his father clobbered him around a lot, although it made us madder than heck, we couldn't do anything about it"(Pg.32)
  • This is a example of violence because Johnny's hits him and beats him up. This shows that there is violence in the streets and in his home.
  • "You don't yell at him," I shouted. Darry wheeled around and slapped me so hard that it knocked me against the door."(Pg,50)
  • This is a example of violence because in the outsiders. This violence is not as bad as the other one but it is still violence in the home. When there are strong emotions violence can occur.
  • In this scene is shows how a drunk Soc was draining Ponyboy. This shows een at the dead of night violence is everywhere and you can not get away from it no matter where you are.
  • "I felt the blood draining from my face. I've been cussed our and sworn at, but nothing ever hit me like that did.(Pg.55)
  • This can't be happening, This can't be happening. This can't be... "you really killed him, huh Johnny"(Pg.57)
  • This shows that even one of the good or main characters can act with violence. He was in a very stressed and impulsive situation so that's is what made him act violent
