A Good Man is Hard to Find

- "Let's go to the house with the secret panel!"
- we've had an accident!
- "We've had an accident!"
- The grandmother tells the kids about this plantation house, knowing its in Tennessee, and the kids make the dad stop, and go see it thinking its not that far away.
- "Yes'm"
- "you're the misfit!"
- The family gets into an accident and the car rolls over. the mother is in the ditch with the baby and the kids scream "We've had an accident!". Bailey, the father, is very upset and angry.
- “Why you’re one of my babies. You’re one of my own children!”
- A long black car, drives by and the grandmother yells out "We've had an accident!" to get their attention. The car turns around and starts driving towards them.
- “She would of been a good woman, if it had been somebody there to shoot her every minute of her life.”
- “It’s no real pleasure in life.”
- “Some fun!”
- The grandmother comes to the realization that the man who came to help them, is the misfit that's on the loose. And he makes it clear to them he is and if they didn't recognize him, it would've been better for them.
- The Grandmother has an epiphany and falls into the ditch and cries out to the misfit “Why you’re one of my babies. You’re one of my own children!”. The grandmother believes there has to be a good man, deep down inside him. She reaches out and touches his arm, when she does that, the misfit gets very angry and pulls back swiftly and shoots her in the chest three times.
- The misfit has an ending that proves there's hope for him in being a good man by saying “It’s no real pleasure in life.” meaning that he feels guilty for shooting her, contradicting what he has said in the past.
