- June 17, 1775 - Bunker Hill - BritishThis was an early battle of the revolutionary war. Where the colonist took over a military-controlled high ground and killed many British troops. Only losing the battle due to a lack of ammunition to keep fighting.
- Saratoga
- August 27, 1776 - Long Island, NY - BritishThe Battle of New York also known as the battle of Long Island was a mission to defend New York from being controlled by the British, led by George Washington. It resulted in a loss as George had to retreat. This would be the first loss after the Declaration of Independence.
- Valley Forge
- December 25, 1776 - Trenton, NJ - AmericaThe battle of Trenton was a huge victory of killing German mercenaries on Chrismas, led by George Washington. It had a huge burst of American pride and soldiers' morale in the war.
- Yorktown
- 1777 - Saratoga, NY - AmericaGeneral Hohn Burgoyne attempted to split New England in half and make a new country to separate support to the colonies but failed. It was a massive victory for the congress and resulted in foreign countries taking major notice of the war, and the French sent support for the Colonies.
- Winter 1777-1778 - Valley Forge - AmericaValley Forge is where congress troops and Washington hunkered down for winter, till the news of the French joining the war to fight with them. Then being able to leave in spring to take bag Philli. It was a harsh and brutal winter but still a victory in the end.
- 1781 - Yorktown, VI - AmericaThis was the last major battle of the US revolutionary war. It resulted in George Washington leading a mix of colonist and french troops into battle capturing General Cornwallis and his army surrendering. This led England to come to negotiate.
