- You guys did you hear about Eloise? I heard that she got suspended.
- I heard she got into a fight with a teacher.
- Guys, I don't think that's true. Eloise is my friend and she told me she was sick.
- Well, I'm not a liar, so I don't know what you're talking about.
- I just think that spreading a rumor that you don't know is true can be harmful.
- Maybe we should go apologize to her.
- Yeah, I think saying sorry and telling her about the rumor would be a good thing to do.
- I guess you're right, I didn't think about it like that. I never meant to hurt Eloise's feelings.
- Hey Eloise, I wanted to tell you that I was telling the girls a rumor I heard about you, but Hannah here said it wasn't true.
- Wow, thanks for telling me. I'm glad that I can trust you guys to step up and tell me when something goes wrong instead of going behind my back.
