- It is too dark. Good that we have candles!
- Salim, do you know that boy? the one that is trying to do experiments?
- Yes, his name is Thomas. He is a failer! I think that his mum received a dismissal letter today!
- You are not! believe in yourself. Never give up! Go after your dreams!
- Mum, they are saying that I am a frailer. I'm sad!
- I know that other students talking about me. But I never give up. I tried more then 100 times. I came up with the most important invention. which is the bulb.
- In the past, people used to live in tents. They didn't have any electricity. They depended on sunlight for seeing things. In 1980s people also used candles to light up their rooms and to see at night.
- The school decided to dismiss Thomas because they think that he is stupid.
- Thomas didn't give up. He tried and tried. He invented the bulb. Do you know how to make a simple electric circuit to open a bulb. You have to get wires, a bulb, buttery and a switch. Attach them all together and the bulb will start working.
