  • I am Malala and I had an happy childhood
  • The taliban extremists took the control in Pakitan. The extremists banned many things — like owning a television and playing music — and enforced harsh punishments for those who defied their orders. And they said girls could no longer go to school., so I decided to do something about it
  • Malala talks about how girls have rights to go toIn 2012 I spoke out publicly about girls right to learn and to go to school. And this made me a target for talibans. I
  • I tell my story, not because its unique,but because it is not. it the story of many girls
  • In October 2012, on my way home from school, a masked gunman boarded my school bus and asked, “Who is Malala?” He shot me on the left side of my head.
  • I woke up 10 days later in a hospital in Birmingham, England. The doctors and nurses told me about the attack
  • I established Malala Fund, a charity dedicated to women and girls rights. So I became an activist and I received the Nobel Peace Prize in December 2014.
