- Lets start from the beginning...
- A long time ago even before Jesus was born, there were two people, the first two people, who lived together in a garden gifted by Christ
- Their names were Adam and Eve and they lived perfect lives in this beautiful garden, their only rule was to not eat the forrbidden fruit, from the tree of Good and Evil
- Because they ate the bad fruit they created sin in the world
- One day the devil came into the garden and tricked adam and eve into eating the forrbiden fruit and they disobeyed God
- Adam and Eve were then told to leave the garden for disobeying God, it was a sad day
- Because of Adam and Eve, God created the sacraments
- They wanted to be Baptized because Baptism is a sacrament and it gets rid of the original sin which we have because of the bad thing adam and eve did, and they get to be closer with God
- One day this little boy, baby, and little girl all wait outside the church to be baptised
- What the little boy and girl soon learned is that there are 7 sacraments and we need the sacraments becuase they connect the little boy and little girl with God
- The promise Mark made to stella is like the sacraments for all of us, the sacraments are like a promise you make to a friend but its to God
- Right now while the on playground the little girl Stella and the little boy Mark play on the playground Mark promised not to tell the secret of who Stella likes
- Because of Marks promise to stella they now have a special bond, just like we have a special bond with God after going through a sacrament, we also use the sacraments as a way to talk to God even though he is not here on earth
- The sacrament Mark and Stella have just gone through will change their lives forever, all sacraments do, we also get grace from the sacraments
- Mark and Stella just had there first communion!
- Sacramental grace = is participation is God's life
- After their first communion Mark and Stella are closer with God becuase of the grace from their first communion
- Even after all of this Mark and Stella are still confused what a sacrament is
- First Mark and Stella learn that a sacrament changes our lives, and what a scrament changes is also a place where God is in our life
- Then Mark and Stella learned that we got the sacraments from Jesus, just like a present you get from your mom we can remeber Jesus through his present
- Finally Mark and Stella learned that sacraments are a way you get to be in Gods life a way God is in your life
- That was Mark and Stellas sacramental journey, they learned a lot and I hope you did too!Remember God loves you!Sacraments are good!
