- The Legend of Pineapple( Ang Alamat ng Pinya)
- HI! I'm Aling Rosa
- A long time ago, in a small town. There's a mother and her daughter, living a simple life.
- Hi! I'm Pinang
- Okay. Pinang for today, I will teach you how to do some of the household chores like how to wash the dishes, how to cook food, and how to wash clothes
- Just like a typical mother, Aling Rosa wanted Pinang to grew up as a diligent child. She taught some household chores to her child. Unfortunately, Pinang doesn't obey her
- But Mom! I'm to young for that. You're the one who's responsible for it cause you are my mother.
- It's in the cabinet
- One day, Aling Rosa got sick and she didn't have the energy to do the household chores. That's why she has no choice but to ask Pinang to cook. But since Pinang is a lazy child she doesn't want to do the household chores. However, since her mother cannot get up, she doesn't have any choice but to cook with a heavy heart.
- Pinang return from the kitchen to ask her mom
- Mom, where's the ladle?
- I hope you grow a hundred eyes so that you will see what you are looking for!
- But a few moments later, Pinang returned to asked other utensils. Even though she knew that they were placed near the ladle. Aling Rosa was so sick that she got annoyed and burst into anger with Pinang returned to ask for more utensils. And intentionally scolded Pinang
- Due to her mother's anger, Pinang decided to look for herself.
- Aling Rosa started to feel better. She's able to get up from bed and look for her daughter. She went to their kitchen but she didn't find pinang. After that, Aling Rosa went outside to look for Pinang, but she wasn't even there. Until Aling Rosa saw an unfamiliar plant near the slippers of Pinang. Due to the bereavement of her daughter, she took good care of the weird plant and called it with the name of her daughter "Pinang". As time passed by, the plant grew in number and was later called Pineapple.
